"This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it"

Such powerful words ... a day the Lord made especially for you and me ... if we look at everyday as the day that Lord made for victories, then victory will come ... some of us dread every morning, especially if the day will be full of deadlines, meetings, assignments, etc. however, it STILL IS THE DAY THE LORD MADE ... if we look beyond what is visible, behind every activity, we will see that there are opportunities also ... deadlines means that your boss trust you to do the reports and which can also mean advancement for your career ... meetings will mean meeting new people and share your ideas to them, assignments will mean new learnings that you can share to others ... the Lord did not made this day for you to worry but He made it for you to prosper ... but prosperity means responsibility and accomplishing the tasks alloted for this day means that you are able to handle the responsibility that is attached with His blessings ... SO CHEER UP ... God made this day for you to prosper ... God Bless all

Funny thing that we always say that we do not have enough time for some things ... and most of the time, the thing that suffer is our personal time with the Lord (Quiet Time). We have time for our studies, for our work, for our love ones but for the Lord???

Did anyone ever wondered why when God created the world, He only given us 24 hours a day??? Why not more that 24 hours so that maybe, just maybe we will be able to Talk to Him after we have finished everything that needs to be done???

Well, God is a perfect God and He knows what He is doing. When He created time, He sees it fit to give us 24 hours in a day. It us just a matter of priorities and if you hear someone says he has no more time for this or for that, if it is a priority for him, he makes or sets aside a time to finish it. Maybe, we should also set aside a time for the Lord within the 24 hours that He has given.

On March 12, 2005 about 7 pastors from different churches in the Body of Christ will be given recognition at the PICC in a program entitled "Gabi ng Parangal" spearheaded my the Times of Refresing Ministry (Body ministry of Jesus the Gospel Chruch).

Reading Numbers 22:1-42, it made me realize that not all that blocks our path are trials that comes from the devil ... this may also mean that there is an angel in our path trying to point us to the right way ... Most often than not we see walls as a test to strengthen our faith (which is true in most cases) but this can also be God telling us that we are going in the wrong direction.

To quote Laurie Beth Jones: "If opposing forces cause you to use violence to get them to move, you probably are not on God's path. If you do everything you possibly can to get something to happen, and it doesn't, then an angel must be on the road somewhere. Take a little time out, smell the flowers, and rethink your route and your mission."

How many times did we, Christians, when faced with a trial, prayed like we never prayed before ... asked God to grant us our requests ... and still ... if we are asking God for a blessing, God will surely give it ... but maybe, the reason why He is still haven't granted it is ... maybe, just maybe ... He wants us to rethink our path on how to get there ...

I still believe things happen for a reason ... we meet people everyday, sometimes they became part of our lives ... but along the way the "friendship" did not work ... you tried hard to correct the situation but instead of things getting better, you become frustrated, angry and your focused on something else rather than being focused on your own goals ... You prayed hard that situation should change and it didn't ... then maybe, it is time to let go ... maybe there is an angel in your path telling you ... RETHINK ... maybe, God introduced you to this person so that you will come to know others who are more "ripe for the harvest"

Just counted the days when I entered my last entry (the one before last week) ... it was Sept 22 ... counting it from then till now ... it is ... taraaaaaaaaaaa ... 40 DAYS!!! and I survived!!! yeepee ...    ... I AM VERY HAPPY!!! ... I dreamed, I believed and I survived!!! YES! YES! YES!!!

I was just reading last night how the was tempted for 40 days in the wilderness and how He survived it all ... and I would like to quote this from the book "Jesus CEO": 'If you have not been tested by fire, you do not know who you are. And if you do not know who you are, you cannot be a leader.' WOW!!! Now I know a little bit more of who I am ... Another thing that I like to share from the same book: 'If you want to defeat them, distract them' I almost got distracted ... well honestly I was ... BUT ... I know now what the root of the distraction ...  and now I can cut it out from its roots ...

I thank the Lord that He is always there ... to guide me back towards my destiny!!!

Ok, ok ... I have not updated my blog lately ...

Confession ... it is because my focus was on something else ... which should not be ... Honestly, I am struggling now ... Please pray for me ... I cannot pass this test alone ... I need God's help ... I know God hears prayers ... but I pray that God will give me the strength to overcome ...

Just last Wednesday ... our Pastor's preaching is focusing on to Jesus ... pressing on towards the goal ... I need to press on and press harder ... I need to knock on Heaven's Doors until it opens ...

I need God to be the CENTER OF MY LIFE!!!

Yeah, been busy ... not doing much postings lately ... I am still praying that I am not moving away from the path the Lord intend for me to take ... a lot of things needed to be done within the week and the Lord is shouting PRIORITIZE!!! ...

Ok, ok, ok so, I have my music ... I have to update the website ... and I have to lay-out the newsletter ... Reading Exodus 35:4-29 God is telling me to prioritize things ... I need fervent prayer to direct me (AGAIN!!! ... I cannot count how many times I strayed away from the path) ... and I know the Lord will show me which way ...

I have not been updating my journal lately... too busy with a lot of things and I am losing my focus on what is important ... I feel like I am drained from whatever that was I was doing ... but hey, the Lord will refresh me I know ...

Yesterday, talked to a friend ... my friend who took my hand and brought me back to the Lord ... I miss talking to her, our sharings and all but ALAS! Anyways, visited the Church that revived me ... and I again started to be focused on where the Lord wants me to be ... The other day we were talking about song line-ups for their mid-week service ... That was when my eyes started to light up again, and remembered how I LOVE MUSIC ...

This morning, I started searching the net for new songs ... THIS IS WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO DO!!! ... this is what the Lord called me for ... MUSIC!

I guess the most important things are the hardest things to say.

Don't be afraid to tell someone you love them. If you do, they might
break your heart...if you don't, you might break theirs.


Have u ever decided not to become a couple because you were so afraid of losing what you already had with that person?

Your heart decides whom it likes and whom it doesn't.

You can't tell your heart what to do.

It does it on its own.... when you least suspect it, or even when you
don't want it to.

Have you ever wanted to love someone with everything you had, but that other person was too afraid to let you?

Too many of us stay walled up because we are too afraid to care too much...for fear that the other person does not care as much, or even at all.

Have you ever denied your feelings for someone because your fear of rejection was too hard to handle?

We tell lies when we are afraid...

afraid of what we don't know,

afraid of what others will think,
afraid of what will be found out about us.

But every time we tell a lie, the thing we fear grows stronger.

Life is all about risks and it requires you to jump.

Don't be a person who has to look back and wonder what they would have done, or could have had.

*What would you do if every time you fell in love you had to say
good-bye?




*What would you do if every time you wanted someone they would never be there?




*What would you do if your best friend died tomorrow and you
never got to tell them how you felt?
 (even if it is that you don't care anymore)




*What would you do if you loved someone
more than ever and you couldn't have them?




*What would you do if you never got the chance to say I am friends with all of my family and they know I love them?




People live, but people die.
And I want to tell you that you are a friend.

If you died tomorrow (God Forbid), you would be in my heart.
Would I be in yours?




If you care about me as
much as I care about you, you will tell me this.




We might be best friends one year,


pretty good friends the next year,

don't talk that often the next,

and don't want to talk at all the year after that.

So, I just wanted to say,

even if I never talk to you again in my life,

you are special to me and
you have made a difference in my life,

I look up to you,
respect you, and
truly cherish you.


Tell this to all your friends,

no matter how often you talk,

or how close you are,

and  tell it to the person who told it to you.

Let old friends know you
haven't forgotten them,

and tell new friends you

never will.

Remember, everyone needs a friend,

someday you might feel like you have
NO FRIENDS at all,
